Product overview

MOLYKOTE® HTP Paste is the ultimate lubricant solution for a range of metalworking and forming operations at extremely high temperatures (up to 2,102°F). MOLYKOTE® HTP is formulated with high quality mineral oil and supplemented with solid lubricant additives to protect surfaces at extreme temperatures for use in a wide range of metalworking operations.

Apps

Suitable for the lubrication of hot forming tools, especially on hot flow presses and die forging; also as a release agent and slip additive at high temperatures. Successfully used for hot bending of St 37 or St 70 steel flat bars, rolling of vehicle spring ends, bending of sheet metal edges, hot rolling of milling cutters, die forging of St 37 flywheels, as well as lubrication of separating plates in chipboard presses.
MOLYKOTE® HTP paste can be successfully used in many applications, including:
