Water-resistant food grade grease for food and beverage processing equipment - from Mironox®
JAX Magna-Plate 44-0 is an advanced technology, NLGI #0 food grade grease designed for centralized lubrication systems in high speed can sealers and other food, pharmaceutical or beverage processing machines that utilize centralized lubrication.
Magna-Plate 44-1 and 44-2 are heavier versions of the same hand lubrication grease.
Improved wear protection, excellent pumpability and low evaporation help extend equipment life.
Excellent water resistance and rust protection make Magna-Plate 44 greases ideal for areas subject to high levels of washout or water contamination.
JAX Magna-Plate 44-1 is particularly suitable for humid and steam-intensive environments such as those often found in food processing.
Its excellent hydrophobic properties prevent grease washout, ensuring constant lubricity and long-term protection against corrosion and oxidation.
In some industrial applications, contact with harmful process water, sanitary water or chemical contaminants occurs, which cannot be ruled out in food and beverage production plants.
JAX Magna-Plate 44-1 and 44-2 are the two most water resistant food grade greases on the market, with water washout (ASTM D 1264) of 6.0% and 4.0%.
Applications and Use
JAX Magna-Plate 44-0 was developed to provide a solution for difficult grease separation in centralized lubrication systems.
- in high-speed can closers used in the beverage industry where NSF/USDA-H1 food contact approved lubricants are required.
- areas with heavy waterlogging or contamination
- in all automotive and fleet universal joints, ball joints, chassis, ball and high temperature bearings, heavy duty industrial bearings, conveyors, pumps, dryers, filters, forging presses, ball mills and crushers.

Magna-Plate 22 grease features new Mikronox® antimicrobial technology that inactivates most forms of current microbiological contamination, including yeasts, molds, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Świetny smar do mechanizmów precyzyjnych. Smaruję nim mechanikę magnetofonów, magnetowidów itp. Nie działa negatywnie na elementy gumowe jak też plastikowe. Jest dość rzadki i nie stwarza oporu dla precyzyjnych urządzeń. Świetnie je wycisza. Jest jeszcze jeden smar YM103 ale dostępny tyko w 1 kg puszkach. On jest nieco gęstszy.
