Application method:

For optimum results, the parts to be assembled should be degreased and cleaned, e.g. with WEICON Surface Cleaner (if necessary, mechanically process the surfaces). WEICONLOCK can also be used on uncleaned surfaces, e.g. on screws in their delivered condition. However, the cleaner the surface, the better the results will be.

WEICONLOCK is dispensed evenly onto the surface using the PEN system; avoid direct contact of the dispensing tip with the metal. In the case of clamp connections and larger connecting elements, both surfaces should always be wetted thinly and evenly. Connect the parts quickly. The connected parts should not be touched until the initial adhesive strength has been achieved. Do not pour WEICONLOCK back into the bottle that has already been in contact with metal. Even the smallest metal particles will cause the material to cure in the bottle. We recommend the use of dispensing devices for series production.
